Failure gets a bad rap. Maybe you've grown up hearing the phrase: "Failure is not an option." We've been programmed to believe this, but what if failure is the necessary ingredient for achieving greatness?
Viewing failure as winning or learning means we never really fail. We see it as a win-win scenario where we get to co-create with the universe. We become the uncommon person who shows up in the ring every day for the sake of our bigger vision because we're not afraid to fail. We know it is the insurance of our greatness.
Are you ready to make 2021 the BEST year yet but you wish you had a clear path to manifest your dream? If you have big goals but you need some guidance and support, then don't miss this 3-day challenge to help give you a jump-start in the right direction.
You'll learn that the secret to achieving anything is belief, and that you’re just ONE thought away from lifting the veil and stepping into living this reality. The solution is so simple: it’s already within you, and all you need is the key to unlock this for yourself applying these 3 steps.
Save your spot for the LIVE 3-day challenge happening only on January 19-21, 2021.

In this replay from a live video in The Craft Your Confidence Collective, an amazing community to help you take a deeper dive into the topics discussed on The Craft Your Confidence Podcast. In this episode, learn how embracing imperfection invites us to experience our human-ness, allowing us to embrace the messy parts to discover magical mistakes and loving the every minute of the process.
In this episode, I'm joined by my friend and fellow certified life and weight coach, Heather Beardsley who helps women to thrive in midlife. We riff on the topic of perfectionism and how this keeps us stuck in scarcity. We share oodles of inspiration and truth bombs to help you get unstuck, and our own personal vulnerability and willingness (even though it's hard!) to let go of the bonds of perfection. We shed light on why saying YES to imperfection is the green light to take a deep breath and relax and become the "curious watcher" on the journey to your authenticity.
In this final episode of a 3-part thought work journey, learn how to put all the pieces together so you can use this amazing 5-step process. When we understand how to use this life-changing tool, we have the power to manifest what we want simply by shifting our thoughts. It's through this process that we also diffuse those self-limiting thoughts that keep us stuck, and make them less scary and overwhelming.
In this part 1 of this 3-part series, learn a powerful 5-step process to help you get to the root of any issue you face, and understand why they arise in the first place. When you learn how to apply these tools, you can manifest anything you want if you know how to apply this solution.

With all the lockdowns and kids at home from school, it's so easy to allow our brain to go to the extreme and think only in worst-case scenario. With patience and a plan, you can identify what is within your control and let go of the rest.
We CAN choose PROACTIVITY, not reactivity.
Now more than ever, we can "live into the future" and create a new set of beliefs and possibilities ... paint a new picture. We can use this as an opportunity to grow, not shrink, hide or run the other way.
What you'll learn in this episode:
We have a great opportunity right now to get scrappy and discover new things and the solution is right in front of you. You just have to be open to it.
A crisis intensifies what is already there that we may not be facing. If we are open to it, we will see with clarity what our real WORK is.
In this episode I share my support for the challenges we're collectively sharing during this Coronavirus crisis. This episode is off-the-cuff, raw and unpolished with no bells or whistles ... just me hopping on the mic to talk about courage in the face of fear, allowing grace and allow the gifts of vulnerability to move though us.
Do you find all the reasons to not do what you say you will? Your reptilian brain is screaming: "me no wanna! I just want to knit and Netflix!"
How can you possibly resist? The idea of knitting is perfect considering it's been a long day, and you really want to watch that docuseries on Netflix. "I deserve to kick back," you tell yourself.
What is at play here is resistance. We choose to do what feels good instead of the things that will help us reach our great potential.
We find all the excuses … I’m hungry … I’m tired. I’m sick.
So many things that seem believable and then before you know it, your goals become wishes.
What happens when resistance comes for a visit:
When things get hard, we look for things that make us feel good
This is our primitive brain kicking in. IT. WILL. WIN if you let it
Natural tendency - we want to always seek comfort
We would rather take the path of least resistance
Humans by nature are lazy
The GOOD NEWS - this means you are a normal functioning human
How to overcome it:
Plan for it! It's not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable
You will allow the urge to NOT do what you say you will do.
The payoff of discomfort? You get to reach your ULTIMATE goals.
When it comes to planning, simple and scrappy is my philosophy.
Planning starts with just one sheet of paper and I show you how in this episode!
No fancy bells or whistles …
Just YOU, a pen and paper and your earbuds to listen to this episode!

Indecision keeps you from going all-in. You wonder what the "right" way is. BUT someone else's right could be your wrong. In this part 2 of my 3-part series, I continue with the 3 "sneaky saboteurs" that keep you stuck and how to overcome them
Today I'm continuing on with my Tame Your Time series talking all things annual goals and how to create your very own vision board! Why do we resist planning ahead? It's because by nature we are actually lazy, and our normal tendency is to do what's easy. This causes fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants kind of problems. I show you how NOT to do that!
You can also see how I've been setting up my new Knitter's Planner page-by-page so you can set yourself up for success here:
https://www.karagottwarner.com/UnpluggedWednesday to see the video of my vision board and my philosophy when it comes to annual goal planning.
When you understand why we procrastinate or avoid doing what's hard -- that's when we are on to ourselves. That's when we actually have to tools to do something about it.
In The Knitter's Planner, and in most planners, you'll find this section. In this episode, I share the HOW and WHY of checking-in daily with your highest goals, and why writing and re-write them sets you up for success.
I also talk about something called a vision board, and how I like mine to look like something out of an art journal. I also riff on how I started this process many years ago, and how it inspires me to stay connected to my goals.
A vision board is a space that is up to wherever your imagination takes you. Add quotes, affirmations, paste in pictures from magazines ... whatever.
There's no right or wrong way. Just YOUR way!
When it comes to annual goal planning, The Knitter's Planner allows space for 3 big goals because studies have shown that any more than 3 could make it difficult to stay committed to any of them.
Stay small to go BIG.
I want you to achieve extraordinary success, and if you take the time to plan the goals that will move the needle in your life that will make all your other goals easier or unnecessary you will blow your own mind at the end of 2020.
I also talk about the 3 quadrants that I make sure to include in my annual goals: (in this order)
Choosing goals in one of these 3 quadrants creates a harmonious way to counterbalance each area.
Action Step - If you've purchased your knitter's planner, open it to your 2020 annual goals page and map out your goals for 2020. Don't delay. Make it happen!
Have you purchased your planner yet? You still have time to get it before the new year! www.karagottwarner.com/knittersplanner and you'll get my free planning guide + planning printables just for clicking to learn more.
Then, when you purchase your planner, send me your proof of purchase and I will send you a super-cute, quick-knit mitered purse pattern just in time for gift giving!
